Czech Technical Industrial Drawing – Foundry Mould Engineering Poster – Sourced from an old engineering workshop in the Czech Republic, an amazing series of technical industrial drawings explaining the process of sand casting and creating the wooden moulds/plugs for creating cast metal parts. The ‘male’ form (red plug) is used to form the ‘female’ shape in the process of sand casting. Each one is hand cut and shaped. The plug is pushed into a box form full of casting sand which creates the female shape into which the molten metal is poured. We have a number of posters and are selling them unframed.
