1950’s Jaroslav Šmídek Original Armchairs In A Chevron Slub Jacquard – Sprung Seat. Sourced direct in the Czech republic this is one of Šmídek’s most elegant designs. We carefully select very original armchairs ensuring the fabrics and upholstery are in as good as condition as we can find. The frame is beech throughout and the arms have been cleaned and waxed but retain their original character. This model has the rare and higher sit sprung seat. The upholstery is completely original and has been deep steam cleaned by our workshop team. The price is for one armchair only.

If you would like to purchase this product for delivery in the UK, please contact us beforehand and we can discuss the cost of re-upholstery. The upholstery is original and will not comply with current UK fire regulations (production post January 1st 1950).
