Dépanneur

Dishoom a été lancé en 2010, sur la base d'un concept inspiré des cafés iraniens, autrefois très répandus à Bombay, mais de plus en plus rares aujourd'hui. Nous avons fourni des sièges à un certain nombre de leurs restaurants, toutes des chaises vintage et généralement retapissées avec des graphismes audacieux.

Notre préféré a été de participer à l'ambitieux chantier de Canary Wharf. L'équipe de conception est allée encore plus loin en faisant référence à un « propriétaire fictif, un escroc financier des années 1970 qui possède un café sur Dalal Street, à proximité de la Bourse de Bombay ».

Séances Art Club

Nous avons rencontré Jonny pour la première fois en 2020 lorsqu'il nous a contactés pour un « lot » de chaises en bois courbé pour un nouveau projet de restauration qu'il prévoyait. À l'époque, nous venions de recevoir un ensemble extraordinaire de chaises Thonet originales que nous avions achetées dans un ancien cinéma juste à l'extérieur de Prague. Les chaises conservaient encore certains des numéros de siège d'origine. Nous avons livré quelques semaines avant le tout premier « confinement » et nos pensées se sont tournées vers Jonny et son équipe.

Il a fallu attendre quelques mois avant que nous n'entendions parler de Jonny, mais ils ont finalement ouvert et le reste appartient à l'histoire, Sessions a également pris d'assaut Londres. En gentleman qu'il est, Jonny reste en contact et nous continuons à approvisionner ses diverses entreprises. Un homme avec une vision et un plan extraordinaires. Boîte de moyeu

Nous avons travaillé avec l'équipe de Hub Box sur trois sites à ce jour : Dorchester, Plymouth et Truro. Chaque Hub Box a été développé autour des thèmes centraux que sont les amis, la famille et la bonne cuisine. Basé dans le sud-ouest et en pleine croissance, le restaurant East est méticuleusement conçu avec son propre caractère, célébrant la grandeur et le bien de chaque région locale.

Pour chaque restaurant, nous avons fourni la majorité des chaises, Hub Box a obtenu des avantages vintage et durables. Nous avons travaillé avec l'équipe pour fournir des classiques des années 50.

Dunsmoor

Dans ce restaurant de Glassell Park à Los Angeles, le chef Brian Dunsmoor élabore un menu de cuisine traditionnelle américaine d'inspiration sudiste. Vous saurez que vous avez trouvé votre bonheur lorsque vous verrez la façade d'angle magnifiquement décorée du bâtiment. Dunsmoor, un restaurant où les plats sont préparés sur un grand foyer et un four à bois, l'objectif est de prendre du recul pour avancer.

Doing things from scratch, by hand, without blenders and induction burners and immersion cookers, is the point here. We shipped over nearly 200 original chairs to this multi award winning restaurant, sea freight of course. Voted one of LA’s hottest new openings of 2023. www.dunsmoor.la

Collectif Cassia

Nous travaillons avec Anna et l'équipe Cassia depuis que les tout premiers concepts ont été discutés en 2020. Cassia Collective a pour mission de changer notre façon de travailler, de manger et de socialiser. Nous avons fourni la plupart des tables, une combinaison de nos petites tables Slice et de nos grandes tables Frame en chêne massif.

Emma Bridgewater

Nous avons été ravis de collaborer avec l'équipe d'Emma Bridgwater pour constituer un grand ensemble de chaises vintage originales et colorées pour le café de leur boutique-usine à Stoke-on-Trent. Emma Bridgwater est une marque britannique emblématique, réputée pour ses céramiques décorées à la main dans un style unique.

L'équipe avait besoin de chaises robustes et fonctionnelles, capables de résister à l'afflux de clients désireux de faire de bonnes affaires dans la boutique d'usine, tout en savourant une tasse de thé. Ils ont opté pour des chaises vintage authentiques, car le développement durable leur tient à cœur.

Vignoble de Wraxall

Nous avons adoré travailler avec l'équipe de Wraxall. Nous les avons aidés à aménager leur café et leur avons fourni de nombreuses chaises de bistrot françaises classiques. Elles ont donné du cachet et une touche d'authenticité à ce bâtiment relativement récent. Ils tenaient particulièrement à avoir des chaises vintage, non seulement pour des raisons esthétiques, mais aussi pour refléter leur profond engagement en faveur du développement durable.

Nous étions ravis de collaborer avec Wraxall et avons eu le plaisir de déguster leurs bulles exclusives lors d'une soirée qui s'est prolongée jusqu'au petit matin dans notre supermarché Vintage. Pour les vins et bulles britanniques, Wraxall est une référence.

Croft 3

We sold this large batch of amazing Mullca chairs and we were so busy at the time that we forgot to ask where they were going. They went to an amazing restaurant called Croft 3 on the Isle Of Mull in Scotland. We admired the interior and spotted our chairs! The building is incredible and the whole interior design is a perfect blend of old and new.

Il s'agissait d'un ensemble de chaises inhabituelles, repeintes dans les années 70. Le contraste du vert vif des chaises avec l'intérieur brun terre du bâtiment crée une ambiance chaleureuse et naturelle. Associée à la lumière naturelle abondante des grandes fenêtres, cette atmosphère donne l'impression d'être à l'extérieur, en harmonie avec la nature. Elles s'intègrent parfaitement dans ce cadre. 

Doddington Hall

Nous avons eu le privilège de fournir une vaste sélection de chaises en bois courbé au Grain Store, café-restaurant primé de Doddington Hall & Gardens. Situé en plein cœur de Lincoln, c'est un endroit exceptionnel pour se détendre et se ressourcer.

Tous les produits du menu proviennent de producteurs locaux britanniques des comtés voisins. Les fruits et légumes sont cueillis sur le domaine de Doddington, où l'on élève même une race rare de vaches rouges de Lincoln. Notre mobilier vintage s'harmonise avec ces produits issus d'une agriculture durable.

Kroketa

Bar Kroketa met à l'honneur les tapas espagnoles les plus appréciées, avec une spécialité signature : la croqueta. L'enseigne s'est progressivement implantée dans Londres, de Soho à St Christopher's Place, et plus récemment à Broadgate Circle. Ils nous ont présenté un projet et nous avons été honorés de contribuer à sa réalisation.

Nous avons fourni des chaises vintage en bois courbé, des chaises d'église et des tabourets de bar pour le Bar Kroketa, mais récemment, nous avons également conçu, fabriqué et livré des tables contemporaines à plateau en marbre pour compléter l'ensemble. Le résultat est magnifique et nous sommes très fiers d'y avoir apposé notre signature.

Katherine Ormerod

Lors de notre événement « The Vintage Supermarket » en mai 2024 à Soho, Katherine Ormerod est venue partager ses idées, son expérience et ses conseils. Passionnée par le style vintage, elle intègre des pièces uniques dans des intérieurs modernes.

Pour la remercier de sa présence à notre événement, Katherine a choisi, et nous lui avons offert, un ensemble table et chaises de salle à manger en chêne des années 1950, signé Pierre Gautier. Il trône désormais dans sa cuisine et apparaît régulièrement sur son compte Instagram. Elle a un goût sûr en matière de mode et de design, et le résultat est tout simplement parfait.

Salle des permis

Permit Room est un client fidèle avec lequel nous adorons collaborer ; ils ont un goût impeccable. Au fil des ans, nous leur avons fourni des tabourets, des chaises en bois courbé, des chaises d'extérieur en métal et bien d'autres choses encore.

Ils ont distribué plus de 500 000 repas à des enfants et nous les soutenons pleinement. Ils possèdent actuellement cinq points de service et nous serons présents s’ils décident d’en ouvrir d’autres.

Fer à lisser

One of our biggest customers is Flat Iron. We have provided hundreds of pieces of furniture to them and we absolutely love what they do with it. If you haven’t been to Flat Iron before, you need to. Flat Iron are expanding fast, currently with 25 restaurants nationwide. We have supplied chairs, tables, lights and decorative objects to almost every single one of their restaurants and we are heavily involved with supplying any new openings. Each and every restaurant has it’s own unique atmosphere but there are enough consistencies that remind you, you’re in a Flat Iron. The core reasons that keep you coming back.

We love the simplicity of the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The staff have been nothing but friendly and attentive every time we have visited. They just make you feel welcome. The attention to detail is something that we particular admire. From the engraved steak cleavers, to the little carafes of wine or the heavy weight salt and pepper grinders. The pièce de resistance is the little cleavers they give out at the end of a meal. You can hand them in for a free ice cream or keep them as a little memento! The perfect end to a meal.

Paulie’s

We have worked with the owners of Paulie’s on other projects and we were honoured to help fulfil their new vision. Born in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the New York slice is big, wide, hot, and made to fold. It showed up in the early 1900s with Italian families, got its edge in the 80s, and never looked back.

The restaurant needed to fit that retro 80’s look at we helped kit it out with orange Formica tables, benches and rustic Mullca chairs. It looks amazing and it feels like your stepping back in time. It’s located in Shoreditch, minutes from Spitalfields Market. Next time you’re nearby, grab a slice of pie, you won’t regret it. Our favourite is the Cacio E Pepe.. it’s to die for!

Country Creatures

Country Creatures is a small group of pubs set among the rolling Cotswold hills. They have four countryside pubs with rooms that give handsome old buildings a fresh chapter. Think timber beams, uneven floors and a proper bar at the centre of it all, the kind of place where the fire is lit and no one is in a hurry to leave.

We have supplied tables, chairs, outdoor furniture and more to all four of their pubs. We continue to work with them and look forward to any new ventures they may have in the future.

The Devonshire

The Devonshire is a classic British pub in central Soho serving up homemade bar food from their in-house butcher and bakery. Upstairs they have a wood ember grill restaurant with dining rooms to host private functions for up to 60 guests. Everything is fresh which means the menu changes daily and seasonable depending on what is available.

Our chairs fill their restaurant and outside terrace and we are proud to put our name to such a successful establishment. The place oozes elegance while being very real and down to earth, capturing the essence of fresh, raw and British.

Emily Rickard

Emily is a world renowned Interior Designer and we have been lucky enough to work with her. Raised in various parts of the UK and having lived in Australia for ten years followed by six in Brooklyn, Emily now calls Bristol home. She travels between the UK and the US each year for commercial styling projects and residential design projects.

Working with light, colour and texture and writing about design, decoration, and creating delicious spaces are her passion. Her design studio, Emily Rickard Design, is based in Bristol, However, design clients reach as far as London, Scotland, New York and beyond. Her team is based in both Bristol and London.

Rockfish

Rockfish is another one of our big clients. They have 12 restaurants dotted around the south-west of England and they show no sign of slowing down. Mitch Tonks, the founder of Rockfish, is on a mission to get more people enjoying British seafood in the UK, reducing exports, reducing imports, reducing waste and showing people how great our island’s seafood is. Part of his statement is reducing waste and increasing sustainability, this sits perfectly alongside our ethos.

Rockfish buy fresh fish straight from quayside every day and they do their part to make sure there is plenty of seafood to enjoy well into the future. We have supplied vintage furniture to most of their restaurants but we have also recently created our own contemporary marble tables for them. We are currently working with them to reimagine their seaside Budleigh café into a fully fledged evening restaurant.

Rudy’s Pizza

Rudy’s Pizza restaurants are nationwide and follow the true Neapolitan traditions of making pizza. They are inspired by a local style, unique to Naples, dating back to late 1500s called Ruota di Carro. All of their pizzas are fluffy, light and are too big for the plate.

Rudy’s has some of our chairs but they have been a big buyer of our lights. The most recent opening of the Clapham Junction restaurant has recently installed 14 of our vintage lights that we sourced from Czech Republic, we are really excited to see them in situ once they open.

Soho House

Soho House is a private members’ club originally founded in London in 1995. It was created as a space for people in creative industries like film, media, fashion, and the arts, to work, socialise, and collaborate. Over time, it’s grown into a global network with locations in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and beyond.

We’ve collaborated with Soho House on multiple occasions, curating and supplying vintage pieces for their prestigious houses. Barcelona, Ludlow House in America, Shoreditch in London are just a few of the places you might see our product.

Suntrap Café

Suntrap Café in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, is a charming spot along the Lagan towpath, praised for its friendly staff, coffee expertise, and delightful pastries.

We delivered some bentwood chairs, a couple of Mullca stools and benches and some contemporary ‘Cube’ tables that we make ourselves.

Town

We recently delivered a selection of vintage chairs to TOWN on Drury Lane, London, as part of the launch of their new downstairs event and function space. The pieces were carefully chosen to complement the character of the room, bringing warmth, texture, and a sense of history to a space designed for gatherings and private events.

It’s always rewarding to see these chairs find a new setting where they can be used and appreciated in a contemporary context. The new space will have 100 seats to host large private events. We are eager to see the final product.

Urban Leisure Group

We worked with Urban Leisure Group on their Coin Laundry bar and restaurant, supplying a selection of vintage folding chairs alongside classic Mullca stacking chairs. The mix of pieces was chosen to reflect the venue’s relaxed atmosphere. bringing together practical, hard-wearing seating with a sense of authenticity and charm that sits naturally within the space.

The combination of folding and stacking designs offers flexibility for a busy, social setting, while the patina and history of the chairs add depth to the interiors. Urban Leisure Group’s aesthetic feels both welcoming and effortlessly put together.

Time & Tide Taphouse

The Time & Tide Taphouse in Kent is an independent brewery who have opened up their second taphouse. One situated inside the brewery itself in Eastry and another in the heart of Sandwich, a few miles down the road. They have a minimum of 8 keg lines with the ability to host 32. They also sell their beers canned, so if you want to take some home, you can.

When they came to us for some furniture, we were excited to help. Unique, quirky an independent is what we are good at. They sent us a couple of photos of our stock in situ and we think it looks amazing.

The Base

We’re really pleased to have supplied chairs to The Base in Barnes. Hidden away just off the high street is this amazing gem. Café by day, restaurant and bar by night, it’s an all-day destination for food and drink. They have the most amazing handmade baked goods that are all baked in house. If you’re ever in the area, they are worth a visit.

There’s something about what they’re doing that feels honest, authentic, rustic, and a little bit raw in all the right ways. It’s the kind of place where vintage is celebrated for the texture and story.

They sit naturally in a space like The Base, they don’t just fill a room — they belong there. It’s a perfect home for pieces that were never meant to be ordinary.

GAIL’s

GAIL’s has become one of our larger clients, and it’s been brilliant to see our vintage chairs finding a place in their bakeries. As they grow, open new spaces and create places that feel welcoming and full of life, we will keep supplying chairs that bring warmth, character and individuality to each new bakery. Although each piece we provide is unique, in the setting of GAIL’s, it provides familiarity to the bakery we all know.

For Merchant & Found, it’s exactly the kind of relationship we love. Vintage furniture has a way of making a space feel settled from day one, and that feels especially right for a brand built around everyday rituals – bread, coffee, conversation and community. We are very excited with what the future holds and we can’t wait for the next project.

The Mandrake

We’re proud to have supplied vintage chairs to YOPO, the restaurant at The Mandrake in London. The Mandrake is a truly distinctive hotel, bold, atmospheric and full of personality.

YOPO has a sense of drama and warmth that really suits vintage furniture. Our chairs bring texture, individuality and a little bit of age into the room, helping create a space that feels layered rather than over-designed.

In a restaurant where the surroundings are such an important part of the experience, the right chairs do more than provide a seat, they help shape the mood.
