Dishoom

Dishoom wurde 2010 gegründet und basiert auf dem Konzept der iranischen Cafés, die früher in Bombay weit verbreitet waren, heute aber immer seltener werden. Wir haben eine Reihe ihrer Restaurants mit Sitzmöbeln ausgestattet, allesamt alte Stühle, die größtenteils mit auffälligen Grafiken neu gepolstert wurden.

Unser Lieblingsprojekt war die Beteiligung an dem ehrgeizigen Großprojekt in Canary Wharf. Das Designteam ging noch einen Schritt weiter und bezog sich auf einen „fiktiven Besitzer, einen Finanzbetrüger aus den 1970er Jahren, der ein Café in der Dalal Street in der Nähe der Bombay Stock Exchange besitzt“.

Sessions Art Club

Wir trafen Jonny zum ersten Mal im Jahr 2020, als er uns bezüglich einer Reihe von Bugholzstühlen für ein neues geplantes Restaurant kontaktierte. Damals hatten wir gerade ein außergewöhnliches Set originaler Thonet-Stühle erhalten, die wir aus einem alten Kino in der Nähe von Prag beschafft hatten. Die Stühle enthielten noch einige der ursprünglichen Sitznummern. Wir lieferten einige Wochen vor dem allerersten 'Lockdown' und unser Herz schlug für Jonny und das Team.

Es dauerte ein paar Monate, bis wir wieder von Jonny hörten. Aber schließlich wurde das Restaurant eröffnet und der Rest ist Geschichte – denn auch Sessions hat London im Sturm erobert. Ganz der Gentleman, der er ist und bleint, sind wir stets mit Jonny in Kontakt und wir unterstützen ihn weiterhin bei seinen verschiedenen Unternehmungen. Hub Box

Wir haben mit dem Team von Hub Box bereits an drei Standorten zusammengearbeitet: Dorchester, Plymouth und Truro. Jede Hub Box ist rund um die zentralen Themen Freunde, Familie und gutes Essen entwickelt worden. Jedes der im südwesten Englands gelegenen und schnell wachsenden Restaurants ist sorgfältig gestaltet und hat seinen eigenen Charakter, der das Gute und Schöne der jeweiligen Region zelebriert.

Wir haben für jedes Restaurant den Großteil der Stühle geliefert, damit Hub Box seinen Vintage-Look bewahren und von der Nachhaltigkeit profitieren kann. Wir haben mit dem Team zusammengearbeitet, um Klassiker aus den fünfziger Jahren bereitzustellen.

Dunsmoor

In diesem Restaurant im Glassell Park in Los Angeles kreiert Küchenchef Brian Dunsmoor ein Menü mit südländisch inspirierter amerikanischer Traditionsküche. Sie wissen, dass Sie das Restaurant gefunden haben, wenn Sie die prächtig verzierte Eckfassade des Gebäudes sehen. Im Dunsmoor, einem Restaurant, in dem die Gerichte auf einem großen Herd und in einem Holzofen zubereitet werden, geht es darum, einen Schritt zurück zu gehen, um voranzukommen.

Doing things from scratch, by hand, without blenders and induction burners and immersion cookers, is the point here. We shipped over nearly 200 original chairs to this multi award winning restaurant, sea freight of course. Voted one of LA’s hottest new openings of 2023. www.dunsmoor.la

Cassia Collective

Wir arbeiten seit den ersten DiArtikelnummerssionen über das Konzept im Jahr 2020 mit Anna und dem Cassia-Team zusammen. Cassia Collective hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Art und Weise, wie wir arbeiten, essen und uns treffen, zu verändern. Wir haben den Großteil der Tische geliefert, eine Kombination aus unseren kleineren Slice- und größeren Frame-Tischen aus massiver Eiche.

Emma Bridgewater

Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, mit dem Team von Emma Bridgwater zusammenzuarbeiten und eine große Auswahl an farbenfrohen, originalen Vintage-Stühlen für das Café in ihrem Fabrikverkauf in Stoke-on-Trent zusammenzustellen. Emma Bridgwater ist eine traditionsreiche britische Marke, die für ihre unverwechselbare, handbemalte Keramik bekannt ist.

Das Team benötigte robuste, funktionale Stühle, die dem Andrang der Käufer standhalten konnten, die im Fabrikverkauf nach Schnäppchen suchten und dabei eine Tasse Tee tranken. Sie entschieden sich für originale Vintage-Stühle, da ihnen Nachhaltigkeit sehr am Herzen liegt.

Wraxall Vineyard

Wir haben die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Team von Wraxall sehr genossen. Wir halfen ihnen beim Einrichten ihres Cafés vor Ort und lieferten zahlreiche klassische französische Bistrostühle. Diese verliehen dem relativ neuen Gebäude Charakter und einen Hauch von Vintage. Ihnen war es besonders wichtig, Vintage-Stühle zu verwenden, nicht nur aus ästhetischen Gründen, sondern auch, um ihre tief verwurzelte Nachhaltigkeitsphilosophie widerzuspiegeln.

Wir waren auch total begeistert von der Zusammenarbeit mit Wraxall, da wir bei einer Party bis in die frühen Morgenstunden in unserem Vintage Supermarket ihren exklusiven Sekt genießen durften. Kaufen Sie britische Weine und Sekte – Wraxall gehört zu den Besten.

Croft 3

We sold this large batch of amazing Mullca chairs and we were so busy at the time that we forgot to ask where they were going. They went to an amazing restaurant called Croft 3 on the Isle Of Mull in Scotland. We admired the interior and spotted our chairs! The building is incredible and the whole interior design is a perfect blend of old and new.

Diese Stühle waren etwas Besonderes und wurden in den 70er Jahren übermalt. Der leuchtend grüne Kontrast der Stühle zum schlammbraunen Interieur des Gebäudes erzeugt eine warme, erdige Atmosphäre. Zusammen mit den großen Fenstern, die viel Licht hereinlassen, vermittelt sie das Gefühl, draußen zu sein und eins mit der Natur. Sie fügen sich perfekt in dieses Ambiente ein. 

Doddington Hall

Wir hatten das Glück, eine große Auswahl an Bugholz Stühle zum preisgekrönten Café und Restaurant Grain Store in Doddington Hall & Gardens. Mitten in Lincoln gelegen, ist es ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen und Auftanken.

Alle Zutaten auf der Speisekarte stammen von lokalen britischen Bauern aus den benachbarten Grafschaften, Obst und Gemüse werden auf dem Doddington Estate geerntet und gesammelt, und sie halten sogar ihre eigene seltene Lincoln-Red-Rinderrasse. Vintage Möbel entspricht ihren nachhaltig erzeugten Produkten.

Kroketa

Bar Kroketa bietet Spaniens beliebteste Tapas-Gerichte an, wobei der Fokus auf der Spezialität des Hauses, der Croqueta, liegt. Das Unternehmen hat sich in London von Soho über St. Christopher's Place bis hin zum jüngsten Standort am Broadgate Circle stetig weiterentwickelt. Sie kamen mit einer klaren Vision zu uns, und es war uns eine Ehre, sie bei deren Verwirklichung zu unterstützen.

Wir haben Vintage-Artikel geliefert. Bugholz Wir haben Stühle, Kirchenstühle und Barhocker für die Bar Kroketa entworfen, gefertigt und geliefert. Seit Kurzem bieten wir auch dazu passende, moderne Marmortische an. Das Ergebnis ist beeindruckend, und wir sind sehr stolz darauf, unseren Namen dafür herzugeben.

Katherine Ormerod

Als wir im Mai 2024 den Vintage-Supermarkt in Soho veranstalteten, besuchte uns Katherine Ormerod, um ihre Einblicke, Erfahrungen und Tipps mit uns zu teilen. Sie liebt den Vintage-Stil und integriert einzigartige Stücke in moderne Interieurs.

Als Dankeschön für ihre Teilnahme an unserer Veranstaltung wählte Katherine einen Esstisch mit Stühlen aus Eiche aus den 1950er-Jahren von Pierre Gautier aus , den wir ihr schenkten . Er steht nun in ihrer Küche und wurde schon oft auf ihrem Instagram-Profil gezeigt. Sie hat ein gutes Gespür für Mode und Design, und es passt einfach perfekt.

Genehmigungsraum

Permit Room ist ein Stammkunde, mit dem wir sehr gerne zusammenarbeiten; sie haben Stil. Wir haben Hocker geliefert, Bugholz Stühle, Metall-Gartenstühle und mehr im Laufe der Jahre.

Sie haben bereits über 500.000 Mahlzeiten an Kinder gespendet und wir unterstützen sie voll und ganz. Aktuell betreiben sie fünf Standorte und wir werden auch dann dabei sein, wenn sie weitere eröffnen.

Glätteisen

One of our biggest customers is Flat Iron. We have provided hundreds of pieces of furniture to them and we absolutely love what they do with it. If you haven’t been to Flat Iron before, you need to. Flat Iron are expanding fast, currently with 25 restaurants nationwide. We have supplied chairs, tables, lights and decorative objects to almost every single one of their restaurants and we are heavily involved with supplying any new openings. Each and every restaurant has it’s own unique atmosphere but there are enough consistencies that remind you, you’re in a Flat Iron. The core reasons that keep you coming back.

We love the simplicity of the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The staff have been nothing but friendly and attentive every time we have visited. They just make you feel welcome. The attention to detail is something that we particular admire. From the engraved steak cleavers, to the little carafes of wine or the heavy weight salt and pepper grinders. The pièce de resistance is the little cleavers they give out at the end of a meal. You can hand them in for a free ice cream or keep them as a little memento! The perfect end to a meal.

Paulie’s

We have worked with the owners of Paulie’s on other projects and we were honoured to help fulfil their new vision. Born in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the New York slice is big, wide, hot, and made to fold. It showed up in the early 1900s with Italian families, got its edge in the 80s, and never looked back.

The restaurant needed to fit that retro 80’s look at we helped kit it out with orange Formica tables, benches and rustic Mullca chairs. It looks amazing and it feels like your stepping back in time. It’s located in Shoreditch, minutes from Spitalfields Market. Next time you’re nearby, grab a slice of pie, you won’t regret it. Our favourite is the Cacio E Pepe.. it’s to die for!

Country Creatures

Country Creatures is a small group of pubs set among the rolling Cotswold hills. They have four countryside pubs with rooms that give handsome old buildings a fresh chapter. Think timber beams, uneven floors and a proper bar at the centre of it all, the kind of place where the fire is lit and no one is in a hurry to leave.

We have supplied tables, chairs, outdoor furniture and more to all four of their pubs. We continue to work with them and look forward to any new ventures they may have in the future.

The Devonshire

The Devonshire is a classic British pub in central Soho serving up homemade bar food from their in-house butcher and bakery. Upstairs they have a wood ember grill restaurant with dining rooms to host private functions for up to 60 guests. Everything is fresh which means the menu changes daily and seasonable depending on what is available.

Our chairs fill their restaurant and outside terrace and we are proud to put our name to such a successful establishment. The place oozes elegance while being very real and down to earth, capturing the essence of fresh, raw and British.

Emily Rickard

Emily is a world renowned Interior Designer and we have been lucky enough to work with her. Raised in various parts of the UK and having lived in Australia for ten years followed by six in Brooklyn, Emily now calls Bristol home. She travels between the UK and the US each year for commercial styling projects and residential design projects.

Working with light, colour and texture and writing about design, decoration, and creating delicious spaces are her passion. Her design studio, Emily Rickard Design, is based in Bristol, However, design clients reach as far as London, Scotland, New York and beyond. Her team is based in both Bristol and London.

Rockfish

Rockfish is another one of our big clients. They have 12 restaurants dotted around the south-west of England and they show no sign of slowing down. Mitch Tonks, the founder of Rockfish, is on a mission to get more people enjoying British seafood in the UK, reducing exports, reducing imports, reducing waste and showing people how great our island’s seafood is. Part of his statement is reducing waste and increasing sustainability, this sits perfectly alongside our ethos.

Rockfish buy fresh fish straight from quayside every day and they do their part to make sure there is plenty of seafood to enjoy well into the future. We have supplied vintage furniture to most of their restaurants but we have also recently created our own contemporary marble tables for them. We are currently working with them to reimagine their seaside Budleigh café into a fully fledged evening restaurant.

Rudy’s Pizza

Rudy’s Pizza restaurants are nationwide and follow the true Neapolitan traditions of making pizza. They are inspired by a local style, unique to Naples, dating back to late 1500s called Ruota di Carro. All of their pizzas are fluffy, light and are too big for the plate.

Rudy’s has some of our chairs but they have been a big buyer of our lights. The most recent opening of the Clapham Junction restaurant has recently installed 14 of our vintage lights that we sourced from Czech Republic, we are really excited to see them in situ once they open.

Soho House

Soho House is a private members’ club originally founded in London in 1995. It was created as a space for people in creative industries like film, media, fashion, and the arts, to work, socialise, and collaborate. Over time, it’s grown into a global network with locations in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and beyond.

We’ve collaborated with Soho House on multiple occasions, curating and supplying vintage pieces for their prestigious houses. Barcelona, Ludlow House in America, Shoreditch in London are just a few of the places you might see our product.

Suntrap Café

Suntrap Café in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, is a charming spot along the Lagan towpath, praised for its friendly staff, coffee expertise, and delightful pastries.

We delivered some bentwood chairs, a couple of Mullca stools and benches and some contemporary ‘Cube’ tables that we make ourselves.

Town

We recently delivered a selection of vintage chairs to TOWN on Drury Lane, London, as part of the launch of their new downstairs event and function space. The pieces were carefully chosen to complement the character of the room, bringing warmth, texture, and a sense of history to a space designed for gatherings and private events.

It’s always rewarding to see these chairs find a new setting where they can be used and appreciated in a contemporary context. The new space will have 100 seats to host large private events. We are eager to see the final product.

Urban Leisure Group

We worked with Urban Leisure Group on their Coin Laundry bar and restaurant, supplying a selection of vintage folding chairs alongside classic Mullca stacking chairs. The mix of pieces was chosen to reflect the venue’s relaxed atmosphere. bringing together practical, hard-wearing seating with a sense of authenticity and charm that sits naturally within the space.

The combination of folding and stacking designs offers flexibility for a busy, social setting, while the patina and history of the chairs add depth to the interiors. Urban Leisure Group’s aesthetic feels both welcoming and effortlessly put together.

Time & Tide Taphouse

The Time & Tide Taphouse in Kent is an independent brewery who have opened up their second taphouse. One situated inside the brewery itself in Eastry and another in the heart of Sandwich, a few miles down the road. They have a minimum of 8 keg lines with the ability to host 32. They also sell their beers canned, so if you want to take some home, you can.

When they came to us for some furniture, we were excited to help. Unique, quirky an independent is what we are good at. They sent us a couple of photos of our stock in situ and we think it looks amazing.

The Base

We’re really pleased to have supplied chairs to The Base in Barnes. Hidden away just off the high street is this amazing gem. Café by day, restaurant and bar by night, it’s an all-day destination for food and drink. They have the most amazing handmade baked goods that are all baked in house. If you’re ever in the area, they are worth a visit.

There’s something about what they’re doing that feels honest, authentic, rustic, and a little bit raw in all the right ways. It’s the kind of place where vintage is celebrated for the texture and story.

They sit naturally in a space like The Base, they don’t just fill a room — they belong there. It’s a perfect home for pieces that were never meant to be ordinary.

GAIL’s

GAIL’s has become one of our larger clients, and it’s been brilliant to see our vintage chairs finding a place in their bakeries. As they grow, open new spaces and create places that feel welcoming and full of life, we will keep supplying chairs that bring warmth, character and individuality to each new bakery. Although each piece we provide is unique, in the setting of GAIL’s, it provides familiarity to the bakery we all know.

For Merchant & Found, it’s exactly the kind of relationship we love. Vintage furniture has a way of making a space feel settled from day one, and that feels especially right for a brand built around everyday rituals – bread, coffee, conversation and community. We are very excited with what the future holds and we can’t wait for the next project.

The Mandrake

We’re proud to have supplied vintage chairs to YOPO, the restaurant at The Mandrake in London. The Mandrake is a truly distinctive hotel, bold, atmospheric and full of personality.

YOPO has a sense of drama and warmth that really suits vintage furniture. Our chairs bring texture, individuality and a little bit of age into the room, helping create a space that feels layered rather than over-designed.

In a restaurant where the surroundings are such an important part of the experience, the right chairs do more than provide a seat, they help shape the mood.
